Diesel dates back to 1978 from humble beginnings in Molvena, Italy before becoming a global force in streetwear fashion. Diesel was an “alternative fuel” during the time of world oil crisis, this got the attention of founder Renzo Rosso who liked the idea of his label to be known as the “alternative jeans” label. Today, Diesel continues to stay true to its DNA - innovative, edgy and never fazed by trends.
